Live streaming API enhancements
Live channel create, update, lookup, and list responses have gained several capabilities that matter for production integrations. You can enable DVR from the API (live_dvr_enabled), including DVR without recording, read HLS playback plus encoder configuration for newly created HLS channels, and get SRT connection details and WHIP ingest information for WebRTC workflows. To see which channels are currently broadcasting (and when they went live), use List Online Streams (GET /v2/online-channels with online_since / online_since_date) — that is separate from the channel online flag, which only means the channel is enabled for playback.
When a live recording is saved as a VOD, the VOD object includes stream_id: the id of the live channel that produced the recording. You can filter List Videos with stream_id and read the same field on Lookup Video. See also Create Stream, Update Stream, Lookup Stream, and the Create Live Streams Channels guide.
